In this role you will

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, technical support, and career development.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our product suite, ensuring scalability and quality.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to craft world-class experiences.
  • Drive the technical vision and set engineering priorities for your team.
  • Take part in the early stages of the product lifecycle, shaping the future of our products and architecture.
  • Help define and implement best practices for software development, architecture, and team processes.
  • Collaborate with other engineering managers and leadership to ensure alignment with company-wide goals and initiatives.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams.
  • Strong experience building large-scale, complex applications.
  • Strong background in data models/structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and knowledge of development best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical and operational challenges.
  • Experience with Docker and AWS is a plus.
  • Fluency with Javascript & TypeScript is a plus.
