About the Team

The Marketing team at Empathy drives awareness and demand for our loss support services by sharing compassionate, impactful stories with the market. These stories highlight individuals coping with the loss of a loved one, employers offering crucial support to their employees, and financial institutions and insurers helping families protect their legacies. Our team has established a respected and trusted brand, as demonstrated by our impressive roster of enterprise clients, and we will continue to fuel Empathy's growth as a category creator and market leader.

In this role you will

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B content marketing strategy that reinforces Empathy’s brand and position in the market
  • Create high-quality, engaging content across various formats (blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, ebooks, videos, infographics)
  • Manage the content calendar and ensure timely delivery of all content pieces
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce in-depth, industry-specific content
  • Optimize content for SEO and lead generation
  • Analyze content performance and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights
  • Stay up-to-date with B2B content marketing trends and best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field; or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing
  • Excellent writing and editing skills evident in your portfolio of B2B content
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with content management systems and marketing automation tools
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting on content performance
  • Ability to manage multiple projects large and small, prioritize projects, manage time, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment

Preferred:

  • Experience in B2B, SaaS, or employer benefit organizations


This position is open to applications nationwide. For candidates based in the New York Tri-State area, this would by a hybrid role. For all others, it would be fully remote.

The salary for this position ranges between $85,000 - $100,000. This is decided based on many factors, including but not limited to: skills, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, we are proud to offer stock options in the company and a competitive benefits package.
