We seek a Communications Manager to join our Tel Aviv office, playing a pivotal role in shaping and conveying our mission to diverse audiences.

In this role you will

  • External Communications Ownership: Lead the execution of Empathy's external communications strategy, identifying and leveraging company milestones and industry trends to drive media engagement in collaboration with marketing and company leadership.
  • Content Creation: Craft compelling content across various platforms, including press releases, blog posts, and external communications, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone.
  • Media Coordination: Assist in media outreach and relationship-building efforts with journalists and industry publications, working closely with external PR support to enhance Empathy's visibility. Additionally, support awards submissions, strategic speaking engagement proposals, and maintaining media lists.
  • Timely Engagement: Monitor industry news and relevant conversations to identify opportunities for Empathy to contribute, ensuring proactive and timely responses to media inquiries.
  • Internal Communication & Reporting: Facilitate ongoing communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, ensuring messaging alignment across teams. Develop frameworks for tracking and reporting communication initiatives to demonstrate impact, gather insights, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage Multiple Workstreams: Handle ambiguity and prioritize multiple, often time-sensitive workstreams simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met and initiatives are executed effectively.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in a communications role, preferably within a tech company, startup, or PR agency.
  • Skills: Exceptional writing and editing skills in English; proficiency in Hebrew is a plus.
  • Media Awareness: Understanding of media relations and ability to coordinate with external PR support to maximize exposure.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring flawless execution of communications materials and alignment across channels.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute communication strategies that drive business goals.
  • Team Player & Leadership Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and work closely with leadership to align on narratives and communication strategies and drive organizational goals.
  • External Relationship Management: Comfort with managing external relationships, including with partners and clients, to leverage these connections for driving media reach and engagement in PR and communications efforts. – preferred
