Today, we’re excited to share another big step forward in our journey: the addition of four incredible leaders to our executive team.
Joining us are Sophie Ruddock as Chief Operating Officer, Cindy Goodrich as Chief Marketing Officer (our first ever!), Rotem Waissman as Vice President of Design, and Jennifer Amaral as Vice President of Insurance & Wealth Solutions. These hires mark a pivotal moment for Empathy, as we continue to build on the incredible momentum of the past year.

In 2024, Empathy has grown its partnerships to include 7 of the top 10 U.S. life insurance carriers, provided access to coverage for over 40 million people nationwide, and achieved 300% revenue growth. Along the way, we launched innovative offerings like Empathy LifeVault™, empowering families to take control of their legacy planning. These milestones didn’t happen by accident—they reflect the work of a passionate, talented team that believes deeply in and is driven by what we’re building together.
As we look to 2025 and beyond, the opportunities ahead are even bigger. With Sophie, Cindy, Rotem, and Jennifer on board, we’re not just growing—we’re doubling down on our commitment to compassionate innovation.
Meet Our New Executives
Each of these leaders brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective that will help Empathy accelerate growth and scale, while staying true to our mission:
Sophie Ruddock, our new Chief Operating Officer, brings extensive expertise in transforming startups into market-leading global businesses. As COO of Multiverse, she drove international expansion and market creation across the U.S. and Europe. Her proven track record of scaling technology companies with humanity at the heart will be vital in accelerating our global impact.
Cindy Goodrich, our first-ever Chief Marketing Officer, has spent two decades building iconic brands and businesses at category-defining companies like BetterUp, HubSpot, and Google. Her passion for fostering human connection through cutting-edge technology will be instrumental as we expand our reach and amplify the impact of our work.
Rotem Waissman, our VP of Design, was not only part of Monday.com’s founding team but also shaped its user experience from Day One into a product loved by millions. She will take our platform to the next level, ensuring every interaction is as intuitive, accessible, and compassionate as possible.
Jennifer Amaral, our VP of Insurance & Wealth Solutions, brings two decades of expertise in life insurance and product strategy from industry-leading institutions like The Hartford and Prudential. Jennifer is already helping us deepen partnerships with insurance carriers to launch innovative new products.
